This is a unique opportunity for consistent, recurring work and relatively short shooting days. Seeking talented performers with great personalities, quick thinking, and strong comedic or dramatic improvisation skills. Must be Miami area local - after the pilot episode filming July 8-12, this will be a ongoing project filming 1 week every month. Must be Miami area locals or willing to book as a local. New York
Space Car is a road movie compressed into a single summer afternoon, taking place almost entirely inside a minivan moving through Brooklyn. Serena -Jamaican age 18-22 has been in New York for only a month and the spark has already died. After stumbling out of a club at sunrise, she tells her cousin Jason age 23-25 that she wants to go back to Jamaica. Instead, he convinces her to join him and two young Floridians on a trip to the beach. Packed inside an overheated minivan the group drifts through NewYork's outer edges while passing time with music and conversation about their dreams and fears.
